“The role of education in nurturing entrepreneurship”

Dear Chamber Members,

Entrepreneurs have the power to shape the world by applying their versatile skill sets that are crucial to the progress of our economies. But just how does one learn to be a successful entrepreneur? How do we inspire our young people to go out there and keep learning so they can make their mark on the world?

It is of vital importance to dedicate more resources to the nurturing of the entrepreneurial spirit within the education environments that foster progressive ideas and innovation; and to equip students with the practical knowledge and skills they need to navigate the choppy waters of business ownership.

United Lisbon is proud to be the leading unit within a campus community that will be the first of its kind: the Edu Hub of Lisbon. Created to be an ecosystem where students, educators, innovators and creators connect in the pursuit of lifelong learning – this 28,400 sqm development site is home to the future of education. In revitalized industrial buildings, the campus will evolve with new spaces for learning, working and living. United Lisbon is the initial element of the Edu Hub.

Registration is mandatory – given the restrictions in place to control the COVID-19 pandemic, places are very limited and only registered people will be able to attend the event, with the use of mask at the event being required at all times.
