“Creating healthier and more effective ways of working – the Mindful Business Charter”

Fevereiro 2, 2021 @ 15:30 - 16:30

Stress is one of the biggest problems when it comes to creating mentally healthy workplaces. It is the biggest cause of mental illness for professionals. It also makes us much less productive. Some of the stress we experience comes from inside our own heads but much comes from the ways in which we interact with each other, within and between our organisations.

The Mindful Business Charter is an initiative which aims to identify and remove the unnecessary sources of stress in our working relationships enabling us to work more healthily and more effectively. This session will introduce the Charter to attendees and help them think about how they might want to get involved.

It will be led by Richard Martin of byrne dean who are the consultants appointed to help develop and promote the Charter. Richard is a former city of London law firm partner with his own experience of acute mental illness which now informs his work.
