Opening in September 2025, The Lisboan wants to be a cornerstone of community for education in Portugal. Located in the heart of Alcântara, Lisbon, the campus is housed in a beautifully restored 1908 pasta factory, blending industrial heritage with a forward-thinking vision for education.

The building’s transformation honours its historical significance while reimagining 12,000 square meters into exceptional, sustainable learning spaces. We’ve preserved original façades and design features, restoring the space with care and purpose to create a modern, low-carbon environment that supports our commitment to sustainability from day one. The school is not just made in Lisbon, it belongs to it.

At The Lisboan, learning will extend far beyond the classroom. We aim to become a vibrant hub for families and neighbours alike offering workshops, opening our facilities to the community, and inviting collaboration with local and international partners. Our approach to education is rooted in curiosity and the belief that children thrive when they feel inspired by where they learn.
