Held in the unique setting of the Amendoeira Golf Academy building, overlooking the acclaimed course and rolling Algarve countryside, the inaugural edition of Real Estate Talks at the beautiful Amendoeira Golf Resort, on 18 June, brought together professionals from across the real estate and property sectors for an informal and engaging networking event designed to foster new connections, collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
The evening began with a warm welcome from Tiago Francisco, Director of Golf at Amendoeira Golf Resort, who introduced guests to the resort’s exciting future plans. Through a video presentation, Tiago unveiled a number of new real estate and hospitality projects currently in development, alongside a series of recent renovations and upgrades, highlighting Amendoeira’s continued investment and vision for the future.
The venue itself added greatly to the atmosphere. With its lofty architecture, stunning views across the course, and the resort’s fun and unusual buggy-bar concept, it provided a relaxed and memorable backdrop for networking and conversation.
Our first guest speaker, Enrique Arcay Hardtmann of Global Citizen Solutions, presented Portugal from a Buyer’s Perspective: Truths & Trends. Enrique shared valuable insights into the motivations and expectations of international buyers and offered a particularly thought-provoking perspective on the importance of communication and transparency throughout real estate transactions, illustrated through a personal story that resonated with attendees and sparked conversations.
We also heard from Corinne Ferreira of Sublime Mortgages, who delivered an informative presentation on the 2026 Mortgage Forecast & Market Update. Corinne provided attendees with an overview of current lending trends and market conditions, offering useful insights into the financing landscape and what buyers and professionals can expect over the coming months.
Beyond the presentations, the event achieved what it set out to do: bringing together professionals from across real estate, finance, legal services, architecture, construction, relocation and related sectors to exchange ideas, make new connections and strengthen existing relationships.
