EYE Success Story – Richard Brook

Brief introduction:

Richard is a Wellness coach, acupuncturist and manager in Moihnos Velhos Yoga Detox retreat center.

Cristina is a holistic hydrotherapist passionate about toxin liberation and creating synergies for improving people’s health.

Cristina signed up for the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program after a presentation in her local area. Then, Richard registered in the platform as a host entrepreneur as well given the possibilities to successfully enhance client’s wellbeing with the integration of medical grade ionic hydrotherapy treatments.

The expected benefits were rising client’s wellness and satisfaction as well as learning a multidisciplinary approach to detox.

Activities undertaken:

The activities undertaken between the host entrepreneur and the new entrepreneur were meetings, briefings for logistics, presentations, feedback sessions and hydrotherapy treatments.

Benefits achieved:

An augmentation in the customer’s satisfaction and well-being during the Juice detox program with the addition of medical grade ionic hydrotherapy and a development of a wider view on holistic health and confidence regarding this innovative depurative practice.

NE: “ During the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program I’ve been immersed in an enriching osmosis of therapies and activities such as juice making, yoga classes, back massages, presentations, meditations and tea ceremonies, just to name a few.  

I’ve learnt about the synergies and the amount of organization that requires facilitating Health & Wellness experiences and retreats to clients. 

As result of doing facilitation for guests with different pathologies, such as hypertension, alcohol addiction or hormonal imbalances, I have had the chance to see that the toxin liberation sessions I administer bring relaxation, a greater homeostasis in the ph and a sense of lightness to each individual. 

In this diversity and thanks to this project, I happened to find the ideal customer avatar for the development of my future business: people with blood thickening issues, poor venous return, varicose veins and edema. 

My tutor Richard, Karen, Christopher and the doctor Gijsje in charge of the medical check-ups in the centre have been a huge inspiration for me these months.
