The new entrepreneur decided to join the program because he wanted to start a Digital Nomad Relocation Consultancy. His objectives included developing and improving his business plan, learning how to analyse the relocation market in the EU, and creating international partnerships. He also aimed to understand the steps and requirements for starting a business in the EU, as well as how to build an online presence from scratch.

On the other hand, the goals of the host entrepreneur were the following: to improve the current scope of his business, which covers face-to-face and online international events, online courses, skills, and knowledge. He aimed to strengthen the online presence of his company at local, national, and international levels, enhance communication and cooperation with existing clients, and gain new perspectives from the new entrepreneur’s international expertise.

Activities undertaken

Regarding the NE’s business, we worked together to perform market analysis and study potential competitors. Then, we spent most of the time preparing social media content, considering that I started a social media account for my business in July. The first social media campaign took place in July and early August. I also got a lot of support from my HE to start developing content for a podcast to promote my services. We also got the chance to start discussing my web design style for my future website.

For the HE’s business, I collaborated with all departments during my stay. I was very involved in the communication and content creation department. I supported the production of several weekly newsletters. I also approached clients to advertise our webinars, digital products, and in-person festivals. Moreover, I supported the sales department in our big sales campaign of April and June. In the last 2 months of the exchange, I was involved in the organizational tasks of the 2 festivals we will be holding this summer. I was responsible for organizing the volunteer team, which accounted for more than 40 people.

Benefits achieved (max. 1000 characters)

I successfully developed my business strategy and gained a clear understanding of what’s needed to grow my business. The creation of my Instagram account has been highly important to start getting noticed. The first social media campaign that started in July has been extremely successful, which makes me highly motivated to keep building my project. I now feel better prepared to bring my business to the next level.

The HE business, especially the IPFA project, benefited greatly from the NE international experience to enlarge their database with photography festivals from all around the world and as well as NE support on daily social media content. The NE also played an important role in the logistics and organizational tasks of the 3-day IPFA meeting that took place in Barcelona. With regards to the Experimental Photo Festival, the NE was very important to support the sales campaigns and the coordination of the volunteer team during the 5 days of the festival.
