The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its next webinar: “Coronavirus & Business – measures and instruments to tackle this crisis”:

The COVID-19 pandemic has led to the adoption of legislative measures with a profound impact on companies in different sectors. In times of collapse, as in the case of the coronavirus pandemic, corporate governance is essential to improve the connection between partners. An efficient relationship is required, with transparency between the parties.
The implications are wide and complex, but entrepreneurs and companies must prepare and implement contingency plans aimed at the continuance of their activity and the safety of their workers, partners, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders. Whenever possible, companies should create working groups that monitor, on the one hand, the evolution of contagion and containment of COVID-19, in close contact with health authorities and local authorities, and, on the other hand, the economic-financial and commercial activities that materialise or are expected to impact their activity or that of third parties, adapting commercial strategies in order to minimise and overcome issues that arise.
