Business Breakfast – Algarve
May 29 @ 08:15 - 10:30
“Work and new technologies – friends or enemies?”
by: Cláudia Vaz Póvoa, Partner at EDGE International Lawyers
The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the next Business Breakfast in the Algarve: “Work and new technologies – friends or enemies?”:
The new technologies offer nowadays a wide range of opportunities and several flexible working solutions both to companies and their employees. However, the more flexible the work environment becomes, the more complex the employment relation grows, not only due to the increasing lack of control over the job by the employer, but also due to several privacy issues that may arise in the use of information.
In this session we aim to balance the advantages and disadvantages of the use of new technologies at work, and also provide some solutions already established legally.
The session will allow our members ample time to discuss these and other questions they might have, but also to share their experiences and learn from each other. As usual there will also be ample time during and after the session for our members to network and engage with the speaker on matters of interest!
