Brainstorming Lunch: “Will human creativity outlive AI?

June 28, 2023 @ 12:30 - 15:00

The recent launch of Chat GPT has once again brought the debate about AI’s potential threat to human activity, this time with specific reference to creativity.

The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce regularly organises convivial gatherings of individuals from a cross-section of the business community to what we have come to refer to as “brainstorming think-tank lunches”. The purpose is to stimulate an exchange of perspectives from a diverse group sharing thoughts on how evolving trends in the business landscape might impact on their own organisations.

At our next event we will looking to spark a lively and thought-provoking discussion on whether human creativity will outlive AI.

As AI and automation continue to revolutionise industries and the workforce, many are wondering how these developments will impact the role of human creativity. Do we risk losing the ability to innovate and create in a world increasingly dominated by machines? Or will human creativity continue to thrive alongside AI? This informal lunch is the perfect opportunity to share your perspectives, explore different viewpoints, and engage in a stimulating conversation with other passionate individuals.

The format for these brainstorming think-tank lunches is that we bring together a hand-picked select group of approximately fifteen to twenty people, where each one is regarded as an equal participant.
