We are pleased to invite you to AI Act & the Future of Business: Preparing Today for the Intelligence of Tomorrow, a free, open event examining the impact of Artificial Intelligence and Europe’s new regulatory framework on organisations operating in Portugal.

The Artificial Intelligence revolution is already reshaping the business world – and the EU AI Act will play a defining role in how companies innovate, compete, and grow in the years ahead.

This event will take place on Thursday, 12 February 2026, at the UAlg Tech Campus in Faro, and is delivered in two distinct formats on the same day, designed to suit different audiences:

• In-Person Session – Morning, 9am
An exclusive, in-person event for those who wish to receive the information first-hand and engage directly with the speakers through live discussion and Q&A.
• Online Session – Afternoon, 4pm
A live online session covering the same core content, designed for those unable to attend in person.

The programme opens with a clear and engaging introduction to Artificial Intelligence, exploring its origins, its impact on the digital economy, and why it has become a strategic priority across all sectors.

It then moves to a practical and objective exploration of the EU AI Act, its current status, and what it means specifically for Portuguese organisations.
