VILA VITA Parc & Resort was awarded once again the Platinum Key and the Platinum Fork for its gourmet Ocean restaurant, headed by Executive Chef Hans Neuner, making the restaurant the only one in the country to have received this distinction on 3 consecutive occasions.
For Hans Neuner, “this award is the recognition of the entire team’s work and dedication, who strive every day to grow and perfect their knowledge of local products to give them a stage to present them, in their simplest way, to everyone that visits us.”
The 2-Michelin Star Chef at Ocean restaurant, had himself already been distinguished with the Platinum Fork for the first time in 2012, when this category was first introduced.
The awards ceremony took place yesterday, 14 July in Lisbon and, as usual, was chaired by Francisco Pinto Balsemão, president of the Impresa Group, owners of Expresso, who presented each award category personally. These accolades recognize the best hotels and restaurants in Portugal, with a special highlight for those that stood out for their resilience over the challenging past year.
