Tourism is often regarded as Portugal\u2019s gold mine, generating around 17% of the country\u2019s GDP and maximizing Portugal\u2019s geographical advantages to generate profit and help companies generate their own. From intuitive AI-driven itinerary planners to short-form marketing content, this technology is at the forefront of optimizing consumer engagement and attracting more and more people to tourist attractions such as the Algarve. Without AI, many businesses will fall short and become a lot less productive over time.<\/p>\n

Our next event will tackle a contemporary dilemma around the unmissable emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for tourism. Whilst it\u2019s been present in the world\u2019s daily lives for decades, most of us have been forced to look at it in the eye for the last decade or so. Therefore, the topic to be discussed in our next event is a combination of these two giant concepts: how can we get the best out of AI and use it to the benefit of tourism in Portugal? How do we maximize AI\u2019s superhuman capabilities without taking jobs away from people?<\/p>\n

The BPCC regularly organises convivial gatherings of individuals from a cross-section of the business community to what we have come to refer to as \u201cbrainstorming think-tank lunches\u201d. The purpose is to stimulate an exchange of perspectives from a diverse group sharing thoughts on how evolving trends in the business landscape might impact on their own organisations.<\/p>\n

The format for these brainstorming think-tank lunches is that we bring together a hand-picked select group of approximately fifteen to twenty people, where each one is regarded as an equal participant.<\/p>\n
