These are the challenges we have and to which we can respond together. The fact that we have such a strong scientific community (of Portuguese nationals) here in UK helps a lot to build bridges between our scientific institutions and universities\u201d.<\/p><p>The PM was accompanied on this visit by the minister for foreign affairs Jo\u00e3o Gomes Cravinho \u2013 who was already in UK due to the weekend visit by President Marcelo.<\/p><p>He added that the 650-year anniversary of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anglo-Portuguese_Treaty_of_1373\">first treaty signed between Portugal and England<\/a> falls in a little over a month\u2019s time, marking the oldest alliance between two countries that exists in the world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
