Este relat\u00f3rio resume e analisa os sinistros reais com origem cibern\u00e9tica que foram processados nos Estados Unidos, Reino Unido e Europa.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2bbe2a6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2bbe2a6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>De acordo com Joana Nogueira, Gestora de Sinistros da Innovarisk, representante da Hiscox em Portugal, \u201cas empresas que se viram desprotegidas em 2020 quando o paradigma do trabalho dito \u201ctradicional\u201d mudou e passaram a ter de gerir trabalhadores em teletrabalho, com os riscos inerentes a essa situa\u00e7\u00e3o, procurar\u00e3o necessariamente proteger-se e essa prote\u00e7\u00e3o passar\u00e1 necessariamente pela contrata\u00e7\u00e3o de seguros de cyber, amplamente oferecidos pelo mercado segurador que tem trabalhado na adapta\u00e7\u00e3o e aprimoramento dos clausulados para que as solu\u00e7\u00f5es protejam de facto os Segurados. Penso que cheg\u00e1mos a um ponto em que a contrata\u00e7\u00e3o deste seguro s\u00f3 ir\u00e1 aumentar por ter deixado de ser uma prote\u00e7\u00e3o \u201cdispens\u00e1vel.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>As causas<\/strong><br \/>Segundo o relat\u00f3rio, 7 em cada 10 sinistros tiveram origem numa de tr\u00eas causas: engenharia social (39%), ataque \u00e0 cadeia de abastecimento (21%) e email corporativo comprometido (10%). Esta lista \u00e9 complementada por ataques aos acessos remotos, partilha acidental de informa\u00e7\u00f5es, perda de dispositivos f\u00edsicos e a\u00e7\u00f5es maliciosas realizadas por funcion\u00e1rios ou ex-funcion\u00e1rios.<\/p><p>Al\u00e9m disso, uma das principais conclus\u00f5es \u00e9 que durante 2020 os ataques por amea\u00e7a de extors\u00e3o cresceram exponencialmente. No in\u00edcio do ano, os cibercriminosos especializados neste tipo de ataque alteraram os seus procedimentos, passando do simples bloqueio do acesso \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o para obten\u00e7\u00e3o de um pagamento r\u00e1pido, \u00e0 realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de extors\u00f5es e fuga de dados, publicamente ou atrav\u00e9s da darkweb, bem como \u00e0 nega\u00e7\u00e3o de servi\u00e7o<br \/>(DDoS).<\/p><p>Um aumento de intensidade que ultrapassou as medidas de seguran\u00e7a onde um simples back-up deixou de ser suficiente. Para al\u00e9m disso, o n\u00famero de ataques \u00e0 cadeia de abastecimento tamb\u00e9m continuou a crescer, impulsionado por incidentes de grandes fornecedores de servi\u00e7os, como a Blackbaud e a SolarWinds, destacando a import\u00e2ncia de monitorizar o risco cibern\u00e9tico em toda a cadeia.<\/p><p><strong>Sinistros com maior impacto devido ao custo gerado<\/strong><br \/>Se os ataques forem analisados tendo em conta o impacto econ\u00f3mico gerado e assumido pela seguradora, 8 em quase 10 euros dedicados pela Hiscox \u00e0 resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de sinistros cibern\u00e9ticos corresponderam a ataques de extors\u00e3o cibern\u00e9tica (46%) e a viola\u00e7\u00f5es de dados (33%). A classifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos ataques de maior impacto s\u00e3o os de fraude financeira (12%)<\/p><p>\u201cSe antes de 2020 os riscos cibern\u00e9ticos j\u00e1 existiam, eram falados e as empresas aconselhadas a protegerem-se, depois de 2020 com a brusca mudan\u00e7a que fez com que milh\u00f5es de trabalhadores fossem for\u00e7ados a trabalhar de casa, sem que as empresas tivessem preparado ou assegurado essa mudan\u00e7a, grande parte desses riscos deixaram de ser hipot\u00e9ticos e aumentaram substancialmente.\u201d, explica Joana Nogueira.<\/p><p>Assim, o relat\u00f3rio mostra que, embora a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade empresarial nos primeiros meses tenha provocado uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o generalizada dos sinistros, a partir de Maio, o n\u00famero de sinistros tratados n\u00e3o parou de aumentar, especialmente relacionados com fraudes financeiras e falhas de sistema.
