UK Trade Information on-line

HM Customs and Excise data is the most complete, authoritative and up to date information on UK imports and exports available anywhere. Information is taken directly from returns and reports required with every export and import consignment.

If your company exports, imports or transports commodities of any kind - or faces competition from business that do - then hard, accurate facts about your markets, customers, suppliers and competitors are vital to the success of your business.

The primary use of UK Trade Data is as market intelligence - to identify new trade opportunities for your products across the world: to measure market share to identify growth areas: to forecast trends and analyse patterns.

Once on the site there is no need to register if you only want to use the online ICN (Intrastat Classification Nomenclature) for commodity codes - this is available free of charge via the UK Trade Info homepage.

However if you want to access 8-digit commodity code level UK Trade Statistics or Regional Trade Statistics then you must register for passwords. A 7-day free trial is currently being offered. After this period you will have the option to subscribe.

Please note, Importers' Details and Excise Bulletins are not included in the free trial period. Examples and prices of these products can be found on the UK TradeInfo homepage.

For further information please contact +44 (0) 1702 366288, or e-mail through the website.
