When speaking about swimming pools, the mind runs immediately to the traditional ‘boxes’ of reinforced concrete. Good for swimming maybe, but not particularly aesthetically pleasing and not necessarily fitting in with your beautifully landscaped garden.

At least that was the problem until recently. Today Biodesign Pools offer an alternative that radically changes this concept. Thanks to Biodesign patented technology, pools can now become an extremely comfortable living area modelled to accommodate the bathing needs of the client, yet still be adaptable to blend in with the surrounding landscape. This personalization can include beaches for shoreline relaxation and sunbathing, a safe place for children to paddle and play, submerged chairs or beds, even aero-therapeutic massaging zones - whatever ticks your own box for making the perfect relaxation zone.

The added dimension that Biodesign pools have over standard pools, is that they can easily become an integrated feature in your garden at all times of the year. In the warm periods for the all important relaxing swim, and as the natural seasons change toward the colder months, it can assume the characteristics of a natural lake.

A Biodesign pool can be a lake for the entire season if you prefer, yet still maintain its value when turned back into a pool for bathing - something you cannot do with a traditional pool due to the latter’s frequent maintenance requirements, even during periods when it is not in use.

In addition, the unique shapes with their stone interiors, actually lengthen the bathing season as they can warm the water far better than traditional pools or whirlpools.

So now when you think of furnishing your home - you can do it with your pool as well - not a bad idea, right?
